Tech Art to Artist - Plan of Action

When I first started in games/wanting to get into games, I wanted to be a concept artist, or other artist.
Shortly into my university adventure I realised that I lacked the skill for concepting, so i found the next thing I enjoyed, which was 3D modelling/texturing. As I progressed through uni, my skills were more aimed to engine work and game setup, prototyping in UDK and some basic scripting. Which is where I carried on after completing my degree.

However 2/3 years down the line, doing Tech Art / Level Construction at TT Games, I've got back into 3D modelling in my own projects. However my work just never feels finished, or polished.

SO I'm heading back to the start, re-learning techniques and ironing out bad habits to become better at 3D modelling. And delving into an area which scares me the most, environment art!

The folowing posts will be mainly pictures, and videos, to show my progress from where I am now.
It will probably be used as my portfolio too!
